MALTESE is implemented by a multidisciplinary consortium with complementary expertise in rural development, digital innovation, and community engagement:

  • PAMEA (Austria) – Project coordinator, responsible for overall management, stakeholder engagement, and dissemination, with strong experience in adult learning, rural development, and social innovation.
  • SELFHOOD (Hungary) – Lead for capacity building and community engagement, specialising in digital skills training, curriculum development, and participatory methodologies for rural youth and underserved groups.
  • SEMABLU (Malta) – Technical lead, responsible for the design and deployment of the Agro‑Innovation Digital Hub, with expertise in AI, deep learning, GIS, and Earth observation.

The consortium works closely with a wider stakeholder community that includes rural producers and farmers, rural youth and young entrepreneurs, educational institutions, advisory services, SMEs, NGOs, urban consumers, and public authorities. Their participation ensures that project activities are context‑specific, demand‑driven, and oriented toward long‑term sustainability.
