Training & Capacity Building

Training activities in MALTESE are designed to strengthen digital, entrepreneurial, and circular economy competences among rural youth and agri‑entrepreneurs.

The project develops modular training curricula that cover digital agriculture tools, basic IoT and AI concepts, business planning, marketing, and sustainable resource management. Sessions combine workshops, hands‑on exercises, and hybrid learning formats, making participation feasible for individuals with diverse backgrounds and time constraints.

Capacity‑building workshops are complemented by continuous mentorship and business incubation support. Participants receive guidance in designing and launching youth‑led agri‑businesses, integrating digital tools into daily operations, and applying circular practices. The overall objective is to create a cohort of local “digital champions” able to sustain and extend innovation beyond the project’s duration.
